1 - General descritpion
.
FiWiP is a compact system including the FIPWatcher mPCIe spybus card, it allows sending all FIP frames to Ethernet UDP and receiving them on a remote station.
The system is "transparent" on the network so as not to disrupt the FIP / WorldFIP network. This version is uni-directional.
Optional WiFi and GPS
The Bi-directional version is accessible via the FIP-OPC UA module or the OPC UA over TSN module and the FIP arbiter mPCIe card.

2 - Hardware

For the FIP/WorldFIP part, the system consists of an mPCIe card and a monomedium speed card with 2 SUB-D9 to connect to the FIP/WorldFIP network. The card FIP is inserted into the embedded system GW7100/7101 ( IMX 8), NXP™ i.MX8M Mini Quad Core 1.6GHz ARM® Cortex™-A53

4 Operating modes.
.
Very easy to use, just connect it to the FIP network and Ethernet network and then connect the power supply, without any configuration, FIPWatcher detects and displays the FIP frames circulating on the network on a remote station.
FiWiP behaves like FIPWatcher protocol analyzer, very useful for developments on a desktop or for on-site maintenance. It displays all the frames circulating on the network, with many features.
Using a web server (Webmin for example), WEB interface for remote system administration, the user can configure the FIP UDP service, configure the system time, etc.
In installations, FiWiP uploads all FIP frames on Ethernet, encapsulating other "comfort or life" data (of the FiWiP module) such as temperature, memory or processor utilization rate, etc. See all data LifeSign could be sent...
The remote equipment receives the UDP frames, to decode them there are several possibilities:

- Use Wireshark dissector
