1 - General description
.

FiWiP is a compact system that includes the FIPWatcher mPCIe bus spy card and the "FIPGateway" module to Ethernet UDP. The module is "transparent" on the network so as not to disturb the FIP / WorldFIP network. This version is unidirectional and transparent so as not to be seen by the FIP network. The bi-directional version is accessible via the FIP-OPC UA module and the mPCIe FIP arbiter card.

2 - Hardware part
.

FiWiP is an embedded system powered by 24V.

For the FIP / WorldFIP part, the FIPWatcher mPCIe card offers:

A SUB-D9 to connect to the FIP / WorldFIP network

Optionally, a specific FIP frame acquisition start connector and an oscilloscope jack (missing in the installations) to connect to the FIP cable without disturbing it and analyzing the signal.

The system can be mobile (useful for maintenance) or fixed in an installation by a clip Din or 4 screw clip.

3 - Software part
.

The system is delivered with FIPWatcher software . Very easy to use, connect to the FIP network and Ethernet then connect the power supply, without any configuration, FIPWatcher detects and displays the FIP frames circulating on the network.

FiWiP acts as a FIPWatcher protocol analyzer, very useful for desktop developments or on-site maintenance. Very easy to use, connect the screen, connect to the FIP network and then connect the power supply, without any configuration, FIPWatcher detects and displays the FIP frames circulating on the network.
