1 - FIP System description 

.

Robust on-board system, dedicated for the EN50155 railway world, fanless. It is composed of a motherboard based on Celeron or Core I7 (optional).

The system is generic, it can receive several types of FIP / WorldFIP  (EN50170-3 )  modules developed by EXOLIGENT:

- Card VAM FIP Master / Slave copper, dual channel or mono medium (1 SUBD9 or 2 SUBD9 depending on request customer installation)

- Card VAM FIP Master / Slave optical dual channel

- Card VAM FIP FIPWatcher card, spybus, which exports all FIP frames on the Ethernet network UDP (see page )

The VAM FIP Master / Slave card uses the mPCIE with FullFip 2 communication card, allowing FIP WorldFIP functionality such as the bus arbiter function. The IGLOO2 component serves as a communication bridge between the mPCIe slot and the FullFIP2. The card is delivered with the FIPCORE API.

The VAM FIP card is FIPWarrior or MasterFIP ready

The card is bi-medium, which allows when a wired channel no longer works (cable cut for example) to switch to the other channel. Each channel on the card is equipped with the FieldTR component, the Fieldrive component and a sub-d 9.

Exoligent relies on the AXIOMTEK embedded solution, VAM POE cards are also available.

2 - Customer integration

.

Customers can integrate the "mcpie card + speed card" kit themselves into the on-board system of their choice, in this case this kit can be sold alone without the Tbox module. this solution is easier to manage for the customer and offers greater autonomy on the system, to install other computer programs for example or other VAM drawers... In this case Exoligent also provides support and assistance with hardware and software installation. Exoligent can also modify the speed card for easier customer integration.
