1 - FIP card description

.

The PCI express - FIP card uses the PowerFIP or FullFip 2 communication controller allowing FIP WorldFIP functionalities such as the bus arbiter function. The IGLOO2 component serves as a communication bridge between the PCI express slot and the co-processor. The card is delivered with the FIPCORE API and PowerFIP API

.

The FIP card is supplied with the mPCIe card with PowerFIP or FullFIP2*. It is possible to have 2 FIP network ( with 2 mPCIe).

The card is bi-medium ( 1 bus arbitrator) , the FIP channel on the card is equipped with the FieldTR component, the Fieldrive component and an isolated sub-d 9.
