1 - FIP card description

.

The PCI express FIP "low profile" card uses the PowerFIP or FullFip 2 communication controller allowing FIP WorldFIP functionalities such as the bus arbiter function. The IGLOO2 component serves as a communication bridge between the PCI express slot and the co-processor. The card is delivered with the FIPCORE API and PowerFIP API

The FIP card is supplied with the mPCIe card with PowerFIP or FullFIP2 (no longer available).

The card is "low profile" allowing insertion in small or compact computers. The card is monomedium.

The card is monomedium ( 1 bus arbitrator) , the FIP channel on the card is equipped with the FieldTR component, the Fieldrive component and an isolated sub-d 9.
